Welcome
Welcome to the Renzulli Blog for Strength-based Assessment and Personalized Learning (SBA/PL). Our team, located at the Neag Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development at the University of Connecticut selected this title for our Blog because it describes what we stand for in as few words as possible and draws upon the now available technology that makes SBA/PL a reality. Our work is focused on providing teachers with the tools needed to meet the varying abilities, interests, learning styles, preferred modes of expression, and prior knowledge with which each child enters his or her classroom, grades k-12. In addition, our goal is to foster the self-efficacy of all children as well as to help teachers recognize their own talents, potentials, and the special skills and interests that they each bring to the young people they serve each day.
